Welcome to my Reading Strategies E-Portfolio for 8th Grade Language Arts.
1. The organizational logistics of my Reading Strategies E-portfolioprovides information for quick access to all areas of this reading strategies project. I have included 25 strategies even though only 20 were required because I found other strategies I wanted to utilize and have easy access to on a regular basis.
Strategies incorporating Instructional Grouping can be found as follows:
Instructional Grouping component: 1.Pre-Reading – Initiating Tab = Genre Lesson with LayeredBook Lesson; 2.During Reading – Constructing Tab = Guided Reading with with Layered Book Lesson; and 3.During Reading – Constructing Tab = Pass It On Lesson.
------Instructional grouping rationale with these lessons is provided under the bullet point RATIONALE under all three strategies at the tabs noted above.
The Technology component was conducted in the: 1. Edgar Allen Poe PowerPoint Lesson 2. Digital Photo Story Lesson
